Birch Pullover

$9.00

I wanted the ultimate squishy wardrobe staple - and the Birch Pullover fits the bill to a T! Knit from the top down in a Half Fisherman’s rib stitch, it is warm and cozy and goes with everything!!This sweater is knit from the top down (meaning you can try it on as you go and add length to suit your own personal style!), beginning with the collar and then flowing into Half-Fishermen’s Rib. The yoke is shaped along the raglans for a classic style. The sleeves are then returned to the needle, picking up stitches for the underarm for a totally seamless sweater!

*In purchasing this product you will receive a .pdf pattern for the pictured item so that you can knit them up yourself, not the actual finished item.

SUGGESTED YARN
For this sweater I chose Sojourner Sock, a non-superwash fingering weight yarn. “Sojourner is named after Sojourner Truth. She spoke throughout the Hudson Valley, advocating for the rights of black people and the rights of women. There is no other fitting name for this base. It is 60% US Sourced Merino Wool, 30% Romney that is sourced locally in New York, and 10% Nylon. It is wonderfully soft and but still maintains that rustic quality.” I fell in love with this base when I used it for my DRK Everyday Socks, and found it equally beautiful knit up in socks and sweater!

Birch Hollow Fibers - Sojourner Sock 60% US Sourced Merino Wool, 30% NY State Romney, 10% Nylon (100 g/400 yds/366 m)
5 (5, 6, 6, 7)(7, 8, 9, 9) skeins in Oatmeal

(Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.)
