Sparky

As I was knitting the Spark Cardigan, I knew the motif would make a beautiful round yoke pullover! So as soon as I bound off my cardi, this pullover hopped on my needles. Sparky is knit from the top down with and I added cute pockets, because - POCKETS!

DETAILS
This sweater is knit from the top down (meaning you can try it on as you go and add length to suit your own personal style!) and uses both written and charted instructions.

SIZES
1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9)

FINISHED BUST CIRCUMFERENCE
34.75 (37.5, 43, 47.25, 51.5)(55.5, 59.75, 64, 68)”
88 (95, 109, 120, 131)(141, 152, 162.5, 173) cm
Recommended ease is 2 - 6”/5 - 15 cm; sample is shown in Size 2 on a 34”/86.5 cm bust with 3.5”/9 cm of positive ease.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
These are just approximations. Total yarn usage will depend on the yarn you use (fiber content, ply, etc.), your personal gauge, and any modifications you may make.

MC - Sport weight (350 yds/100 g)
208 (238, 255, 288, 321)(345, 388, 434, 463) g
728 (835, 893, 1011, 1126)(1208, 1359, 1520, 1620) yds
665 (763, 816, 924, 1029)(1104, 1243, 1390, 1482) m
My sample uses a lovely Corriedale, non-superwash wool that is rustic while still comfortable when worn next to my skin. I went for a solid color to be the backdrop of my color-shifting contrast color.

CC - Sport weight (200 yds/50 g)
113 (129, 138, 157, 175)(187, 211, 236, 250) g
452 (519, 555, 628, 700)(751, 845, 945, 1000) yds
414 (474, 507, 575, 640)(687, 773, 864, 914) m
My sample uses a yarn that gradually changes color to create beautiful colorwork with minimal effort. I chose high contrasting yarns so that the motif would pop.
